The Summit 45 by Summit Yachts is our newest design. Due to the changing international offshore racing scene, staying competitive under multiple rating systems has become essential. These multiple rating systems have one thing in common: they are all evolving toward lighter, faster, and more technically advanced designs. This boat has no concession to cruising amenities. It is aimed at serious competitors only! Construction is to custom boat specifications, so individual ideas in gear or layout can be readily incorporated. 45 feet is a great size for offshore racing while still a reasonable size for typical inshore events.

The Summit 40 by Summit Yachts is our most successful IRC design. This 12.15m LOA design is intended to provide a true dual-purpose Cruiser/Racer which can compete successfully offshore or around the cans, and still offer a comfortable cockpit and interior for more relaxed family sailing. With winning performance in its genes, the King 40 has been positioned to ensure that it has the widest possible performance band, with particular focus on light and medium air performance.

The Summit 35 is a dual-purpose IRC Cruiser-Racer design for the US-based performance yachts firm of Summit Yachts. A development of the King 40 design prepared for Summit, it retains the key styling and performance characteristics that made the King 40 such a success while integrating the lessons learned from the ongoing CFD research and the feedback from our custom IRC designs.

The Summit md35 daysailer is the result of long discussions between some of the most experienced sailors and one-design promoters in world yachting. They identified the need for a competitive one-design yacht upon which the focus is high- quality fleet racing, placing a premium on experience and tactical awareness instead of athleticism and endurance.
